APPLICATIONS FOR BEC 2026 are now open!
Applications are open from now until Sunday, May 17th at 11:59PM EST.
BEC is a curated, comics-forward event: Preference for exhibition space will be given to creators with new work, working specifically in the medium of comics and/or sequential storytelling. Exhibitors will be chosen based on a number of additional criteria, so please provide as much information as possible on your application. Criteria includes but is not limited to technical prowess, diversity of voice and background, and regularity of output. NOTE THAT ANY AI BASED WORK IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM THE FESTIVAL.
You may apply for a half table with 1 chair (4ft) or full table with 2 chairs (8ft)
All applicants will be informed in early June as to whether their application and any table space requests have been accepted
After the applications are processed, all accepted exhibitors will be asked about any need-based financial assistance. If you are in a position to be able to donate to a Creator Table fund, please click here!
